🎓 Sunday, May 31st, 2026, will forever be remembered as a truly historic milestone in the life of our school. With hearts full of excitement and gratitude, we celebrated our inaugural graduating class—pioneers who have left a lasting mark on Heritage Christian Academy. As we reflect on this ceremony, we are thankful for the Lord's unwavering faithfulness. This day was a testament to His abundant provision, guidance, and sustaining grace over the years. 🙏
This moment belongs to so many—our graduates, their families, our teachers and staff, and the entire Heritage community. It represents the culmination of years of dedication, prayer, and steadfast investment in the mission of Christian education and the lives of our students.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎉 We are incredibly proud of you. May you continue to soar on wings like eagles, confident in the path God has prepared for you. (Isaiah 40:31) 🦅

And last but not least, our first graders had the grand finale of the school year's elementary share chapels. We are so proud of Mrs. Shilley and Mrs. King’s classes!
To set up the student presentations, Mrs. Shilley shared the story of Gideon from Judges 6-7. Each first grader then gave an example of something they can’t do alone but can achieve with Jesus. One student summed it up perfectly by saying, “By myself, I can’t be brave, but with Jesus I am courageous!”

🏇 From the starting gate to the finish line, our auction team—led by the amazing Barbara Bollinger Stoddard and Kelci McKeirnan—along with our incredible HCA families, supporters, and friends, made our auction a true champion of an evening! By God’s grace and your generosity, we crossed the finish line raising an incredible $183,000. We are grateful for how God provided, and we look forward to seeing these funds further the mission of His school, impacting students and families for years to come. 🏆🌹

This week at chapel, we celebrated students and staff who exemplify the character trait of faith in their everyday lives.
Mrs. Sondra Schopf, one of our Preschool 3’s teachers, received the award earlier in the week. Mrs. Fuertes had this to say: “Her constant encouragement to our staff to bring our hearts to God in prayer is evidence of her genuine love for the Lord. I have witnessed her depend on the Lord in difficult circumstances, clinging firmly to God’s promises and His love. I am thankful for her example of unwavering trust and genuine love for the Lord and the way she shares it with others.”
Mrs. Edler recognized Mrs. Marissa King, our first grade teacher, with these words: “When faced with challenges, her first response is always to turn to God in prayer, seeking His wisdom and guidance. Every time we meet, she never leaves my office without asking how she can pray for me—a beautiful reflection of her servant’s heart and Christ-centered spirit.”
Mr. Stevens awarded middle school English teacher Mrs. Krista Baughn: “She faithfully creates an environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and cared for, often serving as someone they naturally turn to for prayer, guidance, and encouragement in their walk with Jesus. Through her authentic integration of faith into everyday conversations and classroom moments, she continually points students toward Christ and models what it looks like to live out one’s faith with sincerity and grace.”
Finally, Mrs. Dickinson surprised Mr. Stevens, our middle/high school principal, with the award: “Through his example, we have witnessed what it truly means to rest in God’s timing and to walk boldly in His purpose. His confidence in his team, this school, our students, and every HCA family reflects a daily, steadfast commitment to living out authentic Christian faith. His passion to elevate our Secondary program has inspired us all to lead, serve, and live with genuine, unwavering Faith.”
Congratulations to these students and staff who live out Hebrews 11:1, putting their trust in Jesus as they face any challenges that come their way.
