Before the first bell rings, we’re bringing our entire Heritage family together to kick off a brand-new school year! 💚💛 Join us Monday, August 31 for an afternoon of reconnecting, meeting teachers, dropping off supplies, and enjoying time together as a community.

📚 Teacher Meet & Greet | 3:30–4:30 PM
Meet your teacher, visit your classroom, and drop off school supplies.

🎉 Back-to-School Social | 4:00–6:00 PM
Then head outside for fellowship, playground fun, and food trucks!

Come hungry! Food will be available for purchase from Smokin’ Dough, El Taquito Feliz, and K&K Treats. 🍕🌮🍦

Whether Heritage has been home for years or this is your family’s very first year, we can’t wait to see you, reconnect, and kick off an amazing year together!

✈️🦅 Ernesto is squeezing in a few final summer adventures!

It’s almost time for Ernesto to flock back to the nest for the start of another school year, but he’s making the most of these last days of summer! His latest adventure took him cross-country with some fellow Heritage Eagles—flying 5,500+ miles over two weeks and landing in or visiting 14 states!

And Ernesto didn’t just ride along—he even got to take over the cockpit for a bit! ✈️🦅 With an Eagle in the pilot’s seat, you know this was going to be quite the flight.

Ernesto’s flight path included:

📍 MT — Great Falls
📍 ND — Bismarck
📍 WI — Oshkosh & Nenno
📍 NY — Niagara Falls
📍 NH — Lebanon
📍 VT — Woodstock
📍 CT — Bridgeport
📍 PA — Blue Bell & Swarthmore
📍 DE — Wilmington & Claymont
📍 OH — Dayton
📍 IA — Waterloo
📍 SD — Sioux Falls & Rapid City
📍 WY — Hulett
📍 WA — Paine Field 🏠

And those were just the landing spots! Along the way, Ernesto explored First People’s Buffalo Jump State Park, Giant Springs State Park, Niagara Falls, Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, Quechee Gorge State Park, Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Badlands National Park, and Devils Tower National Monument—plus plenty of local parks and museums.

He flew across much of the Great Lakes and stopped at rivers, creeks, bays, and sounds before making it all the way to the Atlantic Ocean! 🌊

This adventure also brought Ernesto to an exciting new milestone: 19 states visited and counting! 🇺🇸🦅

We love seeing where our Heritage Eagles—and Ernesto—soar during summer break. Thank you to this HCA family for taking Ernesto along and letting us follow the adventure!
