Hello All!

This is a quick reminder that all regular classes tomorrow evening will be canceled so we can host a special Jiu Jitsu seminar at the academy.

Seminars like this are a great opportunity for our students and instructors to continue learning and improving, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding while we dedicate the evening to training.

All classes will resume as normal the following day.

We’re so excited to share some awesome news with you! 😄

On Monday, March 16th, we’ll be welcoming Master Pedro Sauer to Evergreen for a special 2-hour seminar, and you won’t want to miss it. 🥋✨

This is a rare chance to learn directly from one of the most respected figures in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Master Sauer is known for his clear, approachable teaching style and his ability to make fundamentals feel powerful, practical, and fun, no matter your experience level.

Holiday Closure Reminder 🎄

Evergreen will be closed starting Monday, December 22nd through Sunday, January 4th.
We’ll reopen Monday, January 5th, in line with the Northshore School District winter break.

We do this every year to thank our instructors for everything they give throughout the year, support family time during the holidays, and take the opportunity to deep clean the gym.

We will be closed this Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for Thanksgiving. On Saturday, the 29th, BJJ Open Mat will be cancelled but there will still be Aikido classes.

Over 45 young vendors from our local community will be selling their own creations—from plushies, jewelry, and stained glass to pet accessories, apparel, toys, and more. These inspiring entrepreneurs have worked hard to design products, set prices, and practice real customer exchanges—and they can’t wait to share their businesses with you. Come shop, support, and celebrate the creativity of our community’s youth!

That’s a Wrap – Thank You for an Incredible Summer! ☀️💛🥋

Yesterday was our last day of camp — and we went out with a bang!

We started with Pizza Tag and fort building, followed by Getaway and some solid self-defense lessons. After lunch, we took one more walk to Bothell Landing, played dodgeball, and then closed things out with one of everyone’s favorite traditions: macaron making at Ohh macarons! 🍬

Back at the dojo, we took a group photo 📸 and signed shirts before saying our goodbyes.

Parents — thank you so much for sharing your kiddos with us this week and throughout the summer. Watching them laugh, learn, and create memories together has been such a privilege.

We’re already looking forward to next year. Until then… thank you for making this summer one we’ll never forget! 💥
