WOW! What a week we have had! Today (Sunday) is the LAST day of the 2026 Kenmore Oktoberfest and we are going out with a bang! Stoup Brewing Kenmore is hosting their Hoptoberfest Beer Festival from noon-8pm. Stoup will be hosting the Oktoberfest Games and final celebration at the Kenmore location. Great food and fun for the whole family. A great way to end a week of community fun! See you at Stoup!

Guten Morgen Northshore! We have a great weekend coming up and today starting at 3pm, the 2026 Kenmore Oktoberfest Bavarian-Style Beer Garden will be open outside Copperworks Distilling- Kenmore. Lot's going on down here today. First on stage is DJ Cide, spinning tunes from 3pm-5pm. Then, the Bavarian Beer Garden Band will be brining the party, playing authentic Oktoberfest style music while working the crowd with fun games and shenanigans. Great beer from our local favorites, Postdoc Brewing, 192 Brewing and others! What a great way to spend a Friday night with friends and family! Cover charge: $8 per person in advance and $10 per person at the door. Cash or card accepted in person and 21 and Under get in FREE! PROST!

Things are about to get a little short-legged and highly competitive at the 2026 Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races! 😂🏁

Join NorthShore Rotary on Saturday, September 19 at Saint Edward State Park in Kenmore for an afternoon of racing, cheering, community, and some very determined dachshunds—also known as wiener dogs! We’re also inviting the adorable wiener wanna-bees to join in the fun! 🐶

🏁 Races begin at 1:00 PM
🐶 Heats approximately every 20 minutes
🏆 And yes… there will be a FINAL race to crown our 2026 Wiener Dog Champion!

This is one of those events that reminds me why I love being part of Rotary. We get to bring people together, have a whole lot of fun, and at the same time raise support for the organizations and projects that make our community stronger.

So bring the family, bring your friends, bring your loudest cheering voice—and prepare to witness some serious athleticism happening about four inches off the ground. 😂🐾
