The purpose of this page is to provide families of Woodside Elementary School with information about PTA happenings. It is our goal to build a TEAM of families, teaches, administrators, and community members o that all of our students are encouraged to reach their full potential. Our goal is to share information and tips, update the community on events and programs, and showcase the achievements of students, teachers, parents, and other community members. Community Rules
+ We encourage you to ask questions and share information. We request that you keep discussions focused directly concerning our school community.
+ We encourage posts that highlight our community’s accomplishments and constructively raise issues for discussion.
+ When posting, please use appropriate language. Children can see our page.
+ If you choose, you can post photos of your children at school events. If you have any questions about posting a particular photo, please check with the page administrator. All pictures shared by Woodside PTA will be done with full parent/guardian permission.
+ Do not post about concerns, problems, or conflicts with individual teachers, administrators, students, or parents. We will immediately delete posts that in any way put down or discriminate against individuals.
+ Online threats will be taken seriously, and proper authorities will be immediately notified.
+ Do not post information commonly understood as confidential, such as student grades.
+ Any inflammatory statements that make allegations against individuals or organizations will be deleted.
+ Keep in mind what you post is public information.
+ Any advertising for businesses is not allowed.
+ Do not publish content as your own that has been created by others. The PTA board and PTA Facebook administrators reserve the right to delete comments and block users who are not following the rules stated above.

The meeting will take place at 6 pm in the Woodside Library. All are welcome to attend.

Happy 1st day of school!!! We hope everyone had a great day and looking forward to an awesome school year!
As we adjust back to schedules we just want to remind everyone not to park in the Bus Lane.
The bus lane at our school is reserved for school buses only. This helps keep our students safe during arrival and dismissal, and keeps buses moving on schedule for all families who rely on them.
Washington State law requires drivers to keep bus loading zones clear at all times — this isn’t just a school rule, it’s a traffic safety law. Please use the designated parent pick-up/drop-off area instead.

Calendar for the year is here!
The first day of school for grades 1-12 is Wednesday, September 2, 2026, and the first day of preschool and kindergarten is Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
We are already full in planning mode for the school year and look forward to seeing everyone at Back to School Night on Monday the 31st!

Next Monday, 8/31, from 4:30–6:00 PM, the PTA is hosting a Stay & Play at the school playground! It’s a great opportunity for families to connect and get to know one another.
And don't forgot to stop by our PTA table, introduce yourself if we haven't and meet and sign up to be a volunteer this year or just get more info about all the things we do!
