Listen up business owners. If you were in business during the Coronavirus Pandemic, you have 10 or more w2 employees, you have ten more days to schedule a free assessment with an experienced tax firm to see if your business qualifies for the employee retention tax credit refund.

There's a tax refund opportunity with a hard deadline of July 10, 2026, that many business owners don't know about. However, in order to see if your business qualifies, you must schedule a FREE assessment by June 30, 2026. You can schedule your assessment through Cindy Bishop at the contact information below.

Two federal courts (Kwong v. United States and Abdo v. Commissioner) recently ruled that COVID-era IRS penalties and interest were unlawfully assessed. That means refunds may be available to a wide range of U.S. taxpayers.

Additionally, the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) window may still be open — worth up to $19,000 per employee for businesses that:
Were fully or partially shut down by a COVID government order,

OR

Saw a significant revenue drop vs. 2019 (50%+ in 2020, 20%+ in 2021)

Unfortunately, in the past, many business owners were told the ERC deadline had passed. Based on the court rulings, that may no longer be accurate.

The IRS has appealed these decisions, which is exactly why protective claims need to be filed before July 10, 2026.
I'm collaborating with two tax firms that specialize in ERC claims processing. They are conducting free assessments to see if your business qualifies. You do not pay anything until you receive your refund.

Please contact Cindy Bishop if you are interested so that we can schedule your free assessment before June 30th

Bill signing ceremony with Governor Jeffrey M Landry on SB 404, a measure that regulates vision plans.

Kudos to Senator Patrick McMath for shepherding this bill through the legislative process. I'm certain this will become a model bill for the nation.
