There is no annual fee to be a member of the YLS. The YLS Section sponsors events all during the year.
The Baton Rouge Bar Association defines a young lawyer as an attorney that has not reached their 39th birthday or that has been practicing less than 5 years, whichever is later. Some events are held throughout the year, such as Thirsty Thursdays and Sidebar Luncheons. Other events are held once a year, such as Summer Sizzlin’ CLE and Cocktails with the Court.
