EFNEP is a community education program that is federally funded and conducted through the LSU AgCenter EBR Parish Cooperative Extension Service.
Families and youth are taught a series of lessons targeting MyPlate, Food Safety, Managing Food Dollars, and planning for daily food needs. Food Demonstrations are also provided with nutrition education lessons.

Working with the summer camps have been a blast!! Campers were taught the importance of handwashing utilizing our interactive GERM CAVE.

Crestworth Elementary Science and Math Night 2/20/14. EFNEP Agents Passion, Karen, & Eva along with S.U. dietetic Intern Kaitlyn. Demonstrated Real life kitchen math using measurements.
March is National Nutrition Month. This year's theme is " Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right".
