The Community Caring Center is Azle's local food pantry. We offer a drive-thru food pantry, clothing, and household goods. How can you help us with our mission?
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to care for those in need in our community! The Community Caring Center is a nonprofit organization helping those in need in our community and the Azle Independent School District. We are located at 317 Commerce Street next to the National Bank of Texas and the Post Office. Our mission is to care for those in need in our community through the provision of food, clothing, and household goods. In do so, we hope to reduce food insecurity. By making a donation of monetary value, food, clothing, household décor, small appliances, or by volunteering your time! Food donations are accepted at CCC during these hours:
Mon-Wed and Fri- 9 - 11:30am & Thur- 4 - 6:30pm
Donations of clothing and household goods can be donated next door (313 Commerce St) at our resale shop, The Porch Resale Shoppe. Their hours are:
Tues - Fri 10am - 6pm & Sat 10am - 3pm
Monetary contributions are always welcome, encouraged, and appreciated. Checks should be made payable to the Community Caring Center (or CCC). They may be mailed or hand delivered to the Community Caring Center at 317 Commerce Street, Azle, TX 76020. You may visit www.communitycaringcenter.com online or come by the Center to pick up a donation form. Because the Community Caring Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization incorporated in the state of Texas, all financial contributions made to the CCC are tax deductible. Become a Caring Partner: Help us help others with a monthly, tax deductible donation and join a group of caring individuals who are passionate about helping their community. Please Donate Cereal!
If you’re able, please consider picking up an extra box (or two!) of cereal on your next grocery trip and donating it to the Community Caring Center.
Every box helps provide breakfast for a local family in need.

We loved having the Azle ISD Transition Center at the Community Caring Center! These wonderful students came ready to work, help, and be part of our team, and they did just that!

A huge THANK YOU to the amazing 2nd graders at Hilltop Elementary for donating food to the Community Caring Center!
As part of a lesson on what it means to be a "Super Citizen" these students put their lesson into action by giving back to their community. And they were definitely SUPER!
We are so proud of these young community helpers and grateful for their generous hearts. Thank you, Hilltop 2nd graders, for making a difference!

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps low-income individuals and families buy healthy groceries using an EBT card.
A Specialist from the Tarrant Area Food Bank will be at CCC and is very helpful. Please be prepared to provide:
- A valid photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or similar)
- Social Security numbers (or proof of application) for all household members applying
- Proof of residence (lease, utility bill, or official mail with their name and address)
- Proof of income (recent pay stubs, employer statement, unemployment benefits, Social Security, etc.)
- Proof of expenses, if applicable (rent/mortgage, utilities, childcare, medical expenses for elderly or disabled members)
- Immigration documents, if applicable.

We are so excited to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, North Texas Giving Day helped us exceed our $30,000 goal!
These funds will support the Azle ISD Weekend Backpack Meals throughout the 2026–2027 school year, helping ensure that children who rely on school meals have nutritious food to take home for the weekend.
Because of your generosity, along with a generous matching grant, chronically hungry children won’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. Instead, they can return to school each Monday fed, focused, and ready to learn!
Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of local children. Your support truly matters!

We’re so grateful for the amazing community support behind the AISD Backpack Meals!
A big thank you to Azle Police Department, Azle Professional Firefighters Local 3627, and Azle ISD Maintenance for helping deliver weekend meals to local students. It truly takes a community working together.

Thank You, Eagle Crest Villa Senior Living!
We are so grateful to the wonderful seniors from Eagle Crest Villa Senior Living for spending time volunteering at our food pantry! These amazing volunteers helped us prepare packets of creamer and ketchup for our clients. While it may seem like a small task, their time, care, and willingness to serve make a BIG difference!

Not only are these students leaders in the Azle FFA chapter, but they are also outstanding citizens in our community!
They generously volunteer their time at our food pantry and serve our clients with kindness, respect, and compassion. We are so grateful for the positive example they set through their leadership and willingness to serve others.
