Our upcoming Trunk or Treat event is just around the corner, and we're kindly asking our wonderful community for candy donations.

This event gets bigger and better every year, and with more families joining us each year, we need plenty of candy to keep all of our trick-or-treaters smiling! If you are able, please consider donating a bag (or two!) of individually wrapped candy.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

Don’t fall victim to a scam when trying to help someone get out of jail. We’ve recently had people come to our Bond Desk after receiving calls or messages telling them they need to pay an inmate’s bond through Chime.

⚠️ Please remember: The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office does NOT accept bond payments through Chime, Venmo, Cash App, or any other mobile payment app.
If someone calls or messages you claiming to be a deputy, officer, or bondsman and tells you to send money through one of these apps, DO NOT SEND IT. It’s a scam.

How to verify bond information:
📍 In Person: Tarrant County Corrections Center, 100 N. Lamar St., Fort Worth, TX
📞 By Phone: Tarrant County Jail: 817-884-3000

You can also visit the official Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office website or download our app Tarrant County Sheriff, TX for inmate and bond information.

If you get a suspicious call, hang up and contact us directly using an official number to verify the information.
When in doubt, verify before you pay.
