Howdy competitors, committee, volunteers and fans of the 2026 Calgary First Responders Rodeo.

What a great day of 6 hours of non-stop action from the smallest to the tallest.

Shots are online for you but this year we are taking a slightly different approach. Previously photos have been donated but this year we are doing it differently. We are charging $10 per photo with proceeds being donated back to CFFR.

We had three different professional rodeo photographers contributing their time to capture this year’s event. A typical rodeo photographer requires 2-3 hours of post edit per hour of action. So in this case that's 12 - 18 hours to go thru the shots, crop, etc. So this helps value their time while still supporting the charity.

Because we had three photographers operating independently, it's possible that
some photos may be slightly out of order. So dig thru and see what you find.

Hopefully we caught everyone. If we missed you or your ride or run we apologize and we’ll do our best to get you next year!

1 WEEK TO GO!! Things are coming together, campers getting packed, food vendors stocked up, animals loaded and so much more!. An amazing group of hard working Directors making sure we have it all for a full day of excitement! Tickets can be pre-purchased through www.cfrr.ca and eventbrite or at the event!!!

Well...the stock might be rough, arena soft and the cowboys and cowgirls tough, but you dont have to sleep like you're on a bed of hay!.
Bring your trailer or favorite tent down to the Girl Guides Camp starting Friday August 7th and take advantage of our courtesy bus trips to and from the Cochrane Rodeo Grounds!!! Only 20$ to camp!!

Here is another event for the Jr. cowfolk, the up and coming cowboys and cowgirls. Kids Calf Scramble is a youth event, 3 participants with a minimum of 1 female per team.
Calf scramble is a popular rodeo event where youths (7-12) compete in an arena to catch calves, retrieve ribbons.
The Setup: A specific number of calves are released into an arena with a smaller number of participants to make the chase challenging and exciting.
The Catch: At the drop of a hat or the announcer's signal, participants run to catch a calf, many smaller rodeos, Jr. participants simply scramble to untie or pull a ribbon off a calf's tail.
