Canada Maple Foundation (CMF) proudly united multicultural communities to celebrate Canada Day under one flag, showcasing their rich art, culture, and shared values. The event brought together vibrant representation from Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Nepal, the Philippines, and China.

Our energetic stage hosts—Hubba Khatoon, Tariq Khan, Shermin Mullan, and Tooba Khan—kept the audience engaged throughout the event. A special announcement was also made: Jamshaid Qureshi was welcomed as the next President of CMF.

The event saw an overwhelming turnout with over 6,000 visitors, many of whom stayed for more than seven hours with their families, enjoying the festivities with enthusiasm and pride.

We were honored by the presence of esteemed guests, including Hon. Muhammad Yaseen, Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism, MLA Irfan Sabir, and other parliamentarians, who mingled with the attendees and reaffirmed their commitment to diversity and Canadian values.

Children's activities were a major highlight, featuring multiple rounds of trivia where over 100 prizes were awarded to young participants showcasing their knowledge and creativity. The kids’ play area, hosted by Nazia Khan, Urooj Riaz, Rabab, and Sania Shoaib, featured bouncy castles, trampolines, soft play zones, art & crafts, and more—promoting both fun and development.

The celebration emphasized CMF’s core mission: fostering economic empowerment, civic engagement, mental wellness, and honoring Canadian heritage. Our platform continues to support growth in business, politics, and community development. Along with other speakers, Dr Afira talked why mental health matters for everyone and shared stratigies to support mental wellness.

Our talented media team—Muhib Qureshi, Abdul Erfan, Saqib Mullan, and Raja Tahir—showcased exceptional creativity and technical skills. With multi-camera setups, live switching, and streaming on social platforms, they brought the event to life on a large LED video wall and beyond.

A marketplace of emerging entrepreneurs and vendors offered a variety of products and services, contributing to business exposure and economic activity.

Pakistan served as the host country this year, presenting a vibrant cultural booth and stage performance led by Sajjad Choudhry and Amna Sajjad. Their act, especially the beloved performance on "وے ونجلی والڑیا", was a crowd favorite. Meanwhile, Ali Imran and Zubair Nabi served guests chilled Rooh Afza, a refreshing cultural touch.

Visitors were also delighted by appearances from popular Disney characters like Spiderman and Elsa, adding magic and joy to the experience.

The CMF food stall, managed by Muiz Qureshi and his team, provided complimentary meals to volunteers and performers, while offering food to visotors at subsidized rates.

The celebration concluded with a Canada Day cake-cutting ceremony, marking the country's birthday with joy and unity.
