Unisa is in Harare this week! We are participating in the Zimbabwean Agricultural Show (ZAS) that starts today, Monday, 29 August 2022 at the Exhibition Park. Our participation in the event is part of the university’s internationalization, especially on the African continent.

Struggling with academic writing and referencing? Finding it difficult to understand your course? Do you feel anxious while preparing for the examination? Are you trying to reach Unisa, and do not know whom to contact? Need an academic mentor to guide you through your studies?

The Unisa Western Cape Region cordially invites you to attend an induction session on Thursday, 11 August 2022 between 12h00 and 14h00.

Why is it important to attend?
Regional Student Support services are crucial parts in your journey to attain good grades and to maintain solid learning opportunities and experiences. What is most important, is that distance learning students need to know how to use time, space and place to be part of a greater social dimension of learning that can add value to their learning experiences, their opportunities, their careers and their lives.

Ways to attend our session
This session will take place in a hybrid setting. You can either attend in-person or join us online via Microsoft Teams. The in-person venue capacity is 50. The Unisa Booking App needs to be completed, and the ‘Facilitation of Learning’ should be selected as a departmental option.
