To say I'm excited to create a tattoo is an understatement. I couldn't help share how it's going, and give a little insight into my portrait process.

Portraits can be scary, for both artist and client. If you're wanting a portrait tattoo, start by researching your artist to make sure it is something they are comfortable doing. Once you've done your research, then relax and trust the process!

As you can see, they can look a bit scary as we go along, but just know the end result is alway so worth it! I'm itching to get back to this one!

It was a LONG weekend, but ultimately successful! Here we are with a healthy human addition to our family! Mr Finley be ready to start booking small pieces in the coming weeks, so get your ideas rolling in 😉 Try not to be offended at his relaxed nature, as he takes his sweet time to make his appearance and grand ideas known. Thank you to my clients who were suddenly rebooked. This was a truly unexpected event for our weekend. We can’t wait to get back into the shop already! 🥰

Tattoo Fact Tuesday 🙃

Whether you are a thrill seeker, a deep-trance tattoo meditator, just after the most painful tattoo possible OR you’re looking to avoid tattoo pain, you’re in the right place. According to the internet (and some of our clients 😉😂), the following are the most painful tattoo spots.

#1 Armpit: Packed with nerve endings and blood vessels, this area is not only painful but tricky to tattoo.

#2 Rib Cage & Stomach: Thin skin and bones make the rib cage excruciating. The stomach isn’t much better due to its sensitivity.

#3 Collarbone: Right under the skin, with vibrations that travel up your neck. This spot is both painful and sensitive.

#4 Elbows: Despite fewer nerve endings, the proximity to bone and lack of fat make elbow tattoos highly painful.

#5 Knees: Like elbows, knees have minimal fat and plenty of bone, making them incredibly painful spots to tattoo.
