Silver Bullet Range
The Best and Friendliest Indoor Pistol and Rifle Shooting Facility in the Entire Denver Metro Area
09/14/2026
We’re Silver Bullet here in Wheat Ridge and a counter full of people who’ve spent the last year reading every line of SB25-003 so you don’t have to.
We’re not going to pretend Colorado made this easy. It didn’t. The rules changed on August 1st, the process got longer, and a lot of folks walked away from the counter confused, frustrated, or just done with the whole thing.
We get it. We’re frustrated too.
But here’s the thing: there is still a lawful path to owning what you want to own in this state. It’s narrower than it used to be. It has more steps. And it’s exactly the road we walk people down every single day.
Eligibility card questions. The required course. Finishing the lower you bought before the deadline. What you can buy today, what you can’t, and what it actually takes to get from one side to the other.
That’s what we do now. Not just sell you a firearm. Walk you through every step so it’s done right, done legally, and done with someone in your corner who actually knows the answer.
Colorado’s hard right now. That’s not a reason to quit. It’s the reason we’re here.
Come see us. Bring your questions. We’ll get you to the other side.

A new way to train….

You bought the lower. Now what?
A lot of you did the smart thing in July. Beat the deadline, got the serialized part on a 4473, figured you’d sort the rest out later.
Later is here. And “just order an upper” isn’t the answer we’d give you.
Read the actual statute and the list of prohibited actions starts with manufacture. Where assembly of a stripped lower lands under that word is not something anyone should be guessing at in their garage not when a first offense is a misdemeanor on your record.
Here’s what we tell every guy who walks in with this exact question:
1. Come talk to us before you buy another part. Bring what you’ve got.
2. Start your eligibility card now. It’s the permission slip, not the certificate you can’t even enroll in the safety course without it. Good for five years once it’s issued.
3. Get through the course. Carded and trained, you’re not guessing anymore. You’re just building.
Nothing about what you already own changed. Possession wasn’t touched. But the path forward has a sequence to it now, and the guys who start it this month are shooting a lot sooner than the guys who wait.
You didn’t buy that lower to let it sit in a drawer.
📍 Come see us at the counter we’ll walk you through where you stand and get the card started same visit. Course dates and the card walkthrough are linked in bio.
