Thank you to the wonderful staff of The Primary Care Team from Stormont Vail Health for volunteering their time and resources on Saturday. This great group of people divided into two teams. One group helped clear our sidewalks and driveway of any remaining snow and ice while another deep cleaned our family guest rooms and made a delicious meal of burritos with oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for dessert. We are very thankful for their help!

Our guest families are enjoying a tasty dinner prepared by our great friends from The Market at Macvicar - A Vintage Boutique: turkey chili, potato salad, fruit and mini cinnamon rolls. Delish! We are very grateful for their continued support for the House that Love Built.

A visit from twins Zireael & Emyr was a great surprise today! They're six months old, happy & healthy, and weighing in at 15 & 12 pounds. We love when our NICU graduates & their parents come back to see us - they're forever part of our RMHC family!

Head to The Woodshed Event Center this Saturday, February 22 for Ronald's AIM, a steel dart tournament fundraiser for Topeka's Ronald McDonald House hosted by Topeka Dart Association. Throw some darts, eat good food, place your bids, have some fun - all for a great cause!

RMHC Board member Dede Boyd & her husband Pat Boyd are regular fixtures at the Ronald McDonald House - today they were joined by their grandson Cameron who is visiting from Atlanta. Together they prepared a delicious meal for our guest families. We really enjoyed chatting with Cameron, who is already all about giving back! ❤

Earlier this week Laina Frost & her family prepared a delicious dinner of chicken alfredo, salad, Texas toast and brownies for families staying at Topeka's Ronald McDonald House. We know it provided comfort & filled empty tummies after a long day by their children's hospital bedsides.

Since 1974, the Shamrock Shake has been more than just a treat! 🍀 It even helped open the first Ronald McDonald House, providing a home away from home when children need healthcare. In celebration of our founding and forever partnership with McDonald's, from February 10 – March 23 at participating U.S. McDonald’s restaurants, 25 cents from every Shamrock Shake sold will be donated to local RMHC Chapters! 💚✨

While Javi was receiving medical treatment, the Cuevas family turned to RMHC for comfort, relief, and stability. We are so grateful Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area was there to strengthen their family through compassionate care that allowed them to focus their energy on Javi. 💙

This weekend, we held the RMHC Global 50th Anniversary Gala, where we embraced the theme ‘Golden Linings,’ a celebration of the strength and transformation we have witnessed in families over the last 50 years. It was such an inspiring evening: emceed by Victor Cruz, we announced our RMHC Family Impact Fund, which will help us serve even more families in the future, highlighted incredible RMHC family stories, and ended with a performance from the one and only John Legend!

Thank you to 23XI Racing and all the NASCAR drivers who helped celebrate 50 years of RMHC this past weekend by honoring families from around the country! At the NASCAR Cup Series race in Homestead, 28 drivers showcased RMHC family names, representing local RMHC Chapters, above their passenger doors. From Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick visiting families at RMHC South Florida to seeing Bubba’s special #23 car paint scheme designed by families at the House, it was a weekend we’ll never forget!

As we head into the next 50 years of RMHC, we remember these inspiring words from our founder, Dr. Audrey Evans, as they perfectly describe the heart of our mission: we care for families, so they can care for theirs.
