Governor Kelly announces 35 bridge projects across Kansas – Newstalk KZRG 08/31/2023

35 Kansas communities to see local bridge improvements. Governor Kelly and KDOT Secretary Calvin Reed made the announcement this morning in Dodge City.

"These bridges connect farms to communities, foster economic growth, and ensure the safety of our citizens," said Rep. Shannon Francis, chairman of the House Transportation Committee. "Whether it is the local cost share program, this bridge improvement program or our upcoming local consult meetings, the IKE program seeks to leverage partnerships with local communities to build practical improvements that will grow and sustain our towns and cities."
