We are officially two months away from the federal h**p ban taking effect on November 12th.

This ban will eliminate roughly 95% of the products currently sold in the h**p industry. With that being said, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Prairie State H**p.

Between now and then, we’re running some killer deals to clear out inventory and, more importantly, say thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. Whether you’ve been shopping with us since the beginning or just found us recently, we appreciate you more than you know.

After November 12th, consumers who rely on these products will have far fewer legal options—pushing many people back toward the black market or into state-licensed dispensaries. We wish things were ending differently, but that’s the reality of the legislation we’ve been handed.

I’m sure I’ll have something a little more heartfelt to say as we get closer to the end. There are a lot of memories, people, and stories wrapped up in this business.

For now, cheers to everyone who supported us—and even to those who just watched from the sidelines. It’s been one hell of a ride. 🍻

Today marks 4 years since we opened our store on Washington Street. What a long strange trip it’s been.

I (Sam) can’t thank you all enough for making this journey possible. We have some of the most loyal customers and staff you can ask for. For that I’m truly blessed.

In all honestly, I never thought we’d make it this far. For those that don’t know I’ll make a long story short. In 2020 I jumped in on a quick flip with some partners growing a field of C*D. When the market dipped at harvest, contracts were torn up and we lost our asses. That could have been the end but I was too stubborn to give up and take a loss. I took all the money I had and started making product in a spare bedroom of my house. From there I started selling online and wholesaling to local businesses until we opened the store on Washington. Since then we did many things. Among them, we built a die hard customer base and expanded to a bigger location a block over on Jefferson.

I can’t tell you where it goes from here, but I can say I’m blessed beyond measure.

At Prairie State H**p we represent the true local industry by creating a space with an authentic feel and high grade product. We aren’t the Apple Store with an order kiosk selling substandard at high prices. We have good people that actually know the industry selling better at better prices. We also do things Colorado style where you can see and smell before buying.

And Yes, we have more than C*D and Delta-8😉
