The Springfield Technical Community College Police Department extends our deepest condolences on the loss of Trooper Kevin Trainor of the Massachusetts State Police. Trooper Trainor was tragically killed by a wrong-way driver on Route 1 in Lynnfield while serving and protecting others.

His courage, dedication, and willingness to put others before himself exemplified the true meaning of service, and his sacrifice will always be remembered.

Please keep Trooper Trainorโ€™s family, friends, and the entire Massachusetts State Police community in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Another incredible night wrapping up another successful R.A.D. class ๐Ÿ’ช

The growth we witnessed over these sessions was nothing short of powerful. From day one to the final simulation, the confidence level in this group was truly impressive. Strong voices, decisive movements, and a mindset that refused to back down. Watching these women step into their strength and trust themselves was exactly what this program is all about.

Sergeant Mongeon and Detective Tardy are beyond proud of each and every one of these women. You showed up, pushed yourselves, and left stronger than you came and thatโ€™s something no one can take from you.

Stay confident. Stay aware. Stay powerful. ๐Ÿ‘Š

Yesterday, we responded to an injured bird on the Green. A huge thank you to the students who noticed this little guy and called us out of concern. Your kindness and quick action helped make sure he got the care he needed. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ’™

Itโ€™s moments like these that remind us how much compassion our campus community has for one another and for the animals that share our campus too.
