Before we close this chapter, I wanted to take a moment to send out a THANK YOU from the Holyoke Police Academy. With each new class, we welcomed not just recruits, but a community of families, friends, and supporters. We’ve come to appreciate the encouragement, pride, and interest you’ve shown in their journey. It has never gone unnoticed.

While this page may be ending, the work continues. The MPTC Holyoke Police Academy will still be featured on our main social media pages, and I’ll still be capturing moments from the recruits’ journey to share with them and with you.

The Holyoke 6th ROC has settled into a pretty good routine now that we've reached week five! The MPTC is hiring a Director for the Randolph Academy! Lead and inspire our future law enforcement officers. This role provides leadership and oversight for academy operations, instructors, and student officers. If you’re passionate about law enforcement education we want to hear from you! MPTC Holyoke, E. Falmouth, and Plymouth are offering a Mental Health First Aid class. Officers will learn how to recognize mental health disorders and their symptoms, understand their impact, develop effective engagement strategies, and safely manage crisis situations.

Governor Healey has continued the state of emergency into Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The MPTC Holyoke Academy building will be closed. Staff remain available by cell and email during business hours.

Legal Updates in-service scheduled tomorrow in the Holyoke Academy has been moved to Friday, February 27. A notice of this update was sent through ACADIS to all officers registered for the session.
