Back to school can bring ALL the feelings. 🤎 New rhythms, new responsibilities, new things to learn and a whole lot that can feel outside of our control as parents.

Whether your kids are walking into a classroom, learning around the kitchen table, or somewhere in between, this season is an opportunity to commit it all to God.

Their friendships.
Their learning.
Their confidence.
Their struggles.
Their schedules.
Their future.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

Parents, we don’t have to have every detail figured out. Our job is to keep pointing our homes and our kids back to Jesus.

So as you step into a new school year, pray over them. Speak truth over them. Remind them who they are and WHO goes with them.

Different schools. Different rhythms. Same faithful God. 🤎

It’s easy to feel like we’re failing when the house is messy, the schedule’s behind, or dinner didn’t go as planned. But our kids aren’t keeping score on any of that.

What they’re keeping is the memory of you on the floor with them. Eyes up. Phone down. Fully there!

Two small ways to practice it this week:
📵 Put the phone away for one meal or activity today — full attention, no scrolling.
👀 Get on their level for 10 minutes — eye contact, no agenda, just them.

You don’t have to have it all together to give them everything that matters most.

Rooted. Growing. Covered. 🌱

Parenting can leave us feeling worn thin, especially in the middle of summer. But God’s promise still stands: “I will refresh the weary soul and satisfy the faint.” (Jeremiah 31:25)

You don’t have to have it all together today. Spend a few moments with Jesus and let Him refill what parenting has poured out!

Your kids are always watching!

They’ll remember the conversations around the dinner table, the way you respond when life gets hard, how you treat people, how you forgive, how you pray, and how you trust Jesus in the everyday moments.

The goal isn’t perfect parenting. It’s faithfully pointing them to Jesus with both our words and our lives!

Keep opening your Bible.
Keep apologizing when you miss it.
Keep praying over your kids.
Keep showing up.

Those ordinary moments are shaping their faith more than you know.
