God did not make you sick. It’s not His will. By His stripes you are healed! The work is finished. Have faith in what He’s already done for you.

This verse contains so much. Spend some time on this one verse and think about each part.

And by His stripes you were healed! That is past tense! The work is already done!

We are told that if we acknowledge Jesus before men that He will acknowledge us before the Father.

Sometimes we can complain that we are not hearing from God or that He seems distant. If this is you, are you trying to hear from God? Are you seeking Him? He is obviously waiting for us, He died for us. We can go to Him in prayer and that is a great thing to do. But what about the Bible? Are you reading it? Studying it? This is His Word to us. Reading the Bible should be a daily habit. This is a way that we can seek Him with all our hearts.

All things are possible! All things. Not just some. All things are possible to him who believes.

We can hope for things in this world, but our hope should not rest in those things. Real hope comes from Jesus.

The Lord is my Shepherd!

For David, and for us, this means that in any situation in life we have One who we can depend on. Whether good times or bad, we should always turn to the One who cares for us. For the Lord is my Shepherd!
