Amy Deacon, Senior Manager of the HRSN Nutrition Program, was recently invited to speak with American International College nursing students as part of the Community Focus Nursing course.

Amy shared the important role that community health programs play in improving the health and well-being of our communities. Students learned about program assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, as well as the programs and services Revitalize CDC offers.

Thank you to the nursing students and Professor Holly Pitoniak for welcoming us into the classroom. It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce future nurses to the work happening right here in our community and share our commitment to building a healthier community for everyone!

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month 🎉

Honoring the resilience, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities that make ours stronger every day.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the families who lost loved ones, the first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage, and the countless lives forever changed that day.

Now 25 years later, their stories, sacrifices, and memories remain with us. May we continue to honor them by remembering, standing together, and never forgetting.
