The Board of Election Commissioners consists of four members, all appointed by the mayor to four year terms. The Commission works with the Election Office staff to ensure that elections are properly managed and conducted in accordance with city, state, and federal laws.

ELIAS BROOKINGS SCHOOL at 433 WALNUT STREET is the new home for voters in 3D & 3E (formerly JC Williams Street on Florence St.) Postcards were mailed out to all affected voters.

The Board of Elections thanks Superintendent Dinnall and Principal Johnson for collaborating with us to provide a location with plenty of parking and easy access!

Today is National Voter Registration Day--the official launch of the Civic Holidays season!

The first step towards voting early is making sure you are registered to vote. Today is the perfect time to plan ahead and ensure you’re ready to hit the polls by taking the first crucial step of registering to vote.

Elections: Elections Office General Laws of Massachusetts mandate an annual street listing of residents as of January 1 of each year.  As part of this process, we are making it more convenient for the residents of Springfield to respond to the annual city census.
