It was a great day at Franconia Golf Classic for the 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 on Friday, June 5th! ⛳️ Congratulations to Town Of Agawam Mayor Chris Johnson on winning the Mayor's Cup Putting Contest and to the foursome from Charlie Arment Trucking who had the winning score. 🏌🏻‍♂️

Gone Golfing!🏌️If you are looking for us, we will be at the 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 ⛳️ at Franconia Golf Course hosting more than 120 golfers playing 18 holes to support the Spirit of Springfield's mission to bring the community together in celebration! 🎉

1️⃣ Month until we make July 4th a 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 🇺🇸 with the free concert by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra 🎶 at 7pm in Riverfront Park and an amazing fireworks display 🎆 at 9:30pm from the Memorial Bridge.

Lunch! 🥪 At 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 ⛳️, it will be compliments of the David R. Northup Electrical Contractors. ⚡️

They have been powering up Bright Nights at Forest Park and the installing the holiday lights in Downtown Springfield for many years. 🎄 On Friday, the will be fueling up the golfers with hamburgs and hot dogs! 🌭

2️⃣ Weeks until Chicopee Mayor Vieau tries to hold on to the Mayor's Cup Trophy at the 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰! 🏌🏻‍♂️

He will take on Springfield Mayor Sarno, West Springfield Mayor Reichelt, and Agawam Mayor Johnson. They will putt to win in the the friendly contest sponsored by Charlie Arment Trucking and Deer Park Recycling.

There is still time to register a foursome and catch the mayors in action on Friday, June 5th at Franconia Golf Course. ⛳️

From State Street to Bridge Street it was a sea of people at the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱'𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁! 🥞 They came for pancakes, people, and community spirit! 🎉

It was MGM Springfield's 14th year as the lead sponsor and Carlos Gonzalez State Representative 1st time as the Honorary Chair. 👑 He brought the salsa, soul, and rock'n roll! 🎶

It was a busy day for the 2026 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱'𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 Honorary Chair Carlos Gonzalez State Representative. He cooked bacon in the morning with Sheriff Nick Cocchi and his team at the Hampden County Sheriff's Department, and then he headed to Mercy Medical Center to mix the last batch of pancake batter.

Join him Saturday, May 16th from 8am to 11am on Main Street for pancakes and all the fixin's!
