What does a first visit to a pregnancy center feel like?

For many women, walking through our doors can feel overwhelming. Questions, uncertainty, and fear often come before the appointment.

That's why we start with a warm welcome, a private and comfortable space, and a listening ear. We take time to hear each woman's story before providing clear information about her options, without pressure or judgment.

Most importantly, support doesn't end after one visit. We're here to walk alongside women and families with ongoing care, resources, and encouragement every step of the way.

What does ongoing support actually look like? 💛

It looks like a woman walking through our doors unsure of her next step... and leaving with care, clarity, and a plan.

It looks like pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, education, material support, and continued encouragement long after the first visit.

And it’s only possible because of donors like you: who make sure every woman who comes in continues to receive compassionate, life-affirming care at 1st Step Women's Center.

Liz has faithfully served for years at 1st Step Women's Center, bringing compassion, wisdom, and steady encouragement to every woman she meets. A proud grandmother, she deeply cherishes her grandchildren and the joy of family life.

With a heart for ministry, Liz has walked alongside women in what often feel like hopeless situations, reminding them that even in the hardest moments, God is still making a way. Her presence is a powerful reminder of hope, strength, and faithful care in action.

As summer begins, we’re praying for every woman who may walk through our doors feeling overwhelmed, afraid, or unsure of what comes next.

‼️ 2024-2025 PLANNED PARENTHOOD ANNUAL REPORT SUMMARY ‼️

Under the mantra, “Care Continues,” Planned Parenthood increased abortions to 434,450, received $832 million in government funding, and made only 3,038 adoption referrals. Meanwhile, 55% of their medical services were STI testing and treatment. Despite years of s*x education outreach, STI rates remain a concern.

Their annual report makes one thing clear: this is not about empowering women or caring for families... it’s about protecting a casual s*x society and an abortion industry that profits from vulnerable lives.

Julie is an energetic and caring advocate at 1st Step Women’s Center who loves staying active, whether she’s working out or playing pickleball. Her heart for her family and passion for volunteering shine through as she supports and encourages every client she meets.
