Is Amber Nelson America's Favorite Teacher? Two things: I love providing music experiences for students that they likely won't get anywhere else and I love how much I learn from them.

For various reasons, my garden didn't do as well as I had hoped. However, my SIL gave me some cucumbers and I combined them with the few I had grown along with some red onions, and farmers market peppers. The result is 9 pints of bread and butter relish. I also put up a pint of banana peppers.

I have been busy this summer with gardening, estate sales, church music camp, and play rehearsal. Now it's blackberry picking time.

I'm also starting to harvest some out of my (very late) spring garden so, hopefully, it will soon be canning time.
