We’re proud of the middle school students who stepped up to run for Student Government leadership positions by delivering their campaign speeches this week, and their peers who cheered them on with enthusiasm and care. Each candidate shared their ideas, priorities, and vision for making our school even stronger.

Candidate for secretary, Deyaneira Miranda Rodriguez, said it well: "To be a great leader, you have to listen first... leadership isn't just about a title. It's about serving our community."

We’re excited for a year of meaningful student voice and participation through our Middle School Student Government—and grateful to every student who was brave enough to put themselves forward. 👏

Springfield Prep is OPEN tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8, and will operate on our normal schedule.

Springfield Public Schools has announced a closure due to a cybersecurity incident. Springfield Prep is unaffected by this incident, and at this time there is no impact to our school systems or operations.

Families and staff should plan for a normal school day. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

School is officially in session for our Kindergarten students, and they’re already doing a great job adjusting to new routines, expectations, and life at Springfield Prep. We know this will be an incredible year of learning and growth for this group!

Nice work, Kindergarten students, families, and teachers—you took on a big transition and nailed it! 🌟

Open House is here again! Along with the flurry of paperwork, transportation questions, and last-minute logistics, our teachers love having the chance to connect one-on-one with students and families—to ease some back-to-school nerves, answer questions, and start strong partnerships.

Last week, we wrapped up the school year with two special milestones. We cheered on our 5th graders as they "stepped up" to middle school and celebrated our 8th-grade graduates as they crossed the stage and received their diplomas!

Graduation featured inspiring remarks from State Representative Carlos González (), reflections from Class President Jacob Arroyo, and lots of cheers from the crowd. Congratulations to the Springfield Prep Class of 2026—we can't wait to see what comes next! 💙💚

At yesterday's Kindergarten Step Up Celebration, families packed the room to celebrate this important milestone and cheer on our youngest learners as they sang to the crowd and earned personalized awards. We also celebrated students who had perfect attendance and homework completion! A major feat for these kiddos and their parents!

A special thank you to our Kindergarten teachers, whose hard work, patience, and belief in their students helped make this year such a success. And thank you to our families for your partnership throughout the year. 💙💚📚✨
