What a great way to close out the month of May!
Thanks to the incredible support of our families, friends, staff, and community members, our Senior Class Car Wash was a huge success. We are excited to share that we raised the remaining funds needed to support the Class of 2026 and their end-of-year celebrations!
We are so grateful to everyone who stopped by, got their car washed, made a donation, or simply helped spread the word. It was a beautiful day filled with teamwork, community spirit, and plenty of smiles. A special thank you to everyone who cooled off with a refreshing Kona Ice treat while supporting our seniors.
Thank you for helping make this event a success and for investing in our students. Congratulations, Class of 2026, we couldn't have done it without you!

A Night to Remember
Last Friday, our juniors and seniors celebrated Prom 2026 at the beautiful Carriage House in Forest Park, Springfield. From the elegant attire to the laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories, the evening was a wonderful celebration of friendship, achievement, and the journey ahead.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this special night possible. We are so proud of our students and grateful to have shared such a memorable evening together.

What a way to close out Teacher Appreciation Week!
On Friday, May 8th, our talented students took the stage and performed selections from the hit musical Hamilton for our incredible teachers and staff. Their energy, confidence, and hard work made for a memorable celebration filled with music, creativity, and appreciation.
Thank you to our students for sharing your talents and helping us honor the educators who inspire and support you every day. And thank you to our amazing teachers for all that you do for our school community!

Community Event Alert!

The World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast, sponsored by MGM Springfield, will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8AM to 11AM on Main Street in Downtown Springfield.

Breakfast, featuring pancakes, bacon, coffee, juice, milk, and water, will be $3 for adults and children are $1.

Participants who complete the family-friendly Step Up Fitness Challenge will receive FREE running sneakers courtesy of Fleet Feet!
All fitness levels are welcome, so come ready to move, have fun, and take a step toward wellness together.

Registration is required by May 14th to qualify for free sneakers. Scan the QR code on the flyer to register!

Last week (April 27th - May 1st) in honor of EL Education's Better World Week Baystate Academy students from grades 7, 9, and 11 showcased their Collaboration and engineering skills with a focus on Wellness as they worked to expand the Baystate Community Garden and get it ready for planting.

Thanks to Choose and Mr. Sneed we have 9 additional garden beds to grow fresh vegetables, herbs, and some berries too! You may have also noticed some new pops of color out front too. Students planted flowers among the already existing greenery to represent the color and life that we have here in our school community.
If you are interested in supporting the Baystate Garden, with time, energy or donations feel free to reach out!
Our harvest will go right into the hands of our school community so get a little dirty and enjoy the fresh produce
