Our group facilitator for Shades, Ricki Marvel, was invited by local legend Jeff Williams(Nil8) to NPR Illinois 91.9 UIS to premiere her new music and talk about her creative life. We even get a little mention at the beginning🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Shades is our BIPOC group (Black, Indigenous, People Of Color). Their next meeting will be on June 25th at 5:30PM.

Singer Songwriter Activist Ricki Marvel Shares Exciting New Music Recorded with Members of Looming Singer, songwriter Ricki Marvel says "I'm chair for Black Pride, a part of Springfield Pride Fest. We're trying to start something, where people get to see themselves celebrated. That's very important!"
