It's always fun to create a moody atmosphere. We recently finished this rustic paint drenched bedroom with vertical shiplap for a mountain loving 8 year old boy, and then this eclectic bathroom for a teenage daughter.

Our hearts go out to everyone who experienced such damage today in the hail storm. We also live on the North side, and understand it first hand. We celebrated our team last night at our company Christmas party. We are so thankful they were a part of these (and more) in 2025:

It's been a busy few months for Memory Lane Designs! 6 bathrooms, multiple tongue and groove porch ceilings, numerous kitchens, multiple fireplaces, and being featured in 417 Magazine to name a few. We love being your go-to small construction, design, and handyman business in Springfield Missouri.

Our client was tired of having a disorganized, cluttered laundry room/pantry overflow area. Josh King designed and built 27 custom cabinets, and now she has a beautiful, organized space with fresh paint, new floors, and a new wall to hide her water softener. Our team did such a great job!

It's not often we get an "in action" shot of the spaces we renovate, but truly one of the favorite parts about doing what we do is to create a space where families can make memories with each other and their friends. We came in midway of this project to get it looking like a million bucks, with a drywalled ceiling so smooth it looks like butter, fresh paint, and a custom made pantry. Love is in the details. ❤️

We're so proud of our growing Memory Lane Designs team! We will be launching two crews over the summer which means sooner availability for renovations and the ability to take more handyman calls than we are currently able to due to scheduling. Ben Nelson, who has been operating with his own business for the past two years, known as Dang Dude Home Solutions, is joining our company which allows us to reach more families in need of updated and beautiful spaces, and/or quicker fixes to minor/major home repairs.
