The transformation of the Ronald McDonald House kitchen is just about complete, inspection should be yet this week and they can start to enjoy the space and those staying there can then work out of a complete kitchen and not the temporary kitchen the staff set up for them.
Photo one and two are from about the same location and it is the biggest tell of the transformation. You can see in photo three the wall that was removed pics four and five the old awkward layout of the kitchen.
This is going to be a great space for those staying here to grab a meal or snack.

How do you unload 17,000 pounds worth of European windows? Frist very carefully and second use a F550 for a dock to be able to position them on to be able to pick them up with the telehandler. This was our heaviest load of windows we gotten from them and it went the smoothest on unloading. Trevor and Ray did great in getting the plan together.

With big windows the need for shades becomes necessary. In this home it is for sun control more than privacy but nobody still wants to see those cartridges hanging in in the window opening. The light tray this home has worked great to add a hidden pocket for these to sit in. Now when they are not being used they will be hidden and out of the way.

Drywall is moving along nicely at the Shoreline Modern home and the "hidden" medicine cabinets are in and they will begin working on getting those fully finished. You can see in the last photo the mockup we did in our own office to test the details and process so this went off without any issues on our clients home. It also allowed us to make some tweaks to make the clients version better such as the finished interior, adjustable shelves and cutout for and outlet. These will be a nice add into the primary bathroom.

Wrapped this beautiful home up last fall and had the opportunity to get some professional photos of the finished product. All the details came together so well!

Adding electrical by a pocket door isn't a big a big deal now with these Eclisse Luce kits. They are specifically designed for their 2x6 frames to give a chase for the electrician to run their wire as well as mount their box. In a home like our Nordic it is a huge saver as we have several pocket doors in areas where there are large window walls so few places to install a switch to operate the lights....even with these there are some that are a challenge.

This warmer weather and breaking into May has me ready to spend some time with family on the lake. Over the years we have gotten to do several lake homes and each home is unique but the setting and views are also unique if you know Table Rock. While this homes view is through some trees on the Corp property when you get up with a drone the view of the lake is amazing!

We got the Plungie Pool uncovered earlier this week in preparation for the concrete next week. It was like unwrapping a present, for a long time now it has been in place with its construction cover on it to keep things out of it but now being able to see the pool in place and how it will truly frame to the lake was great. It will be a great add to this homes entertainment space and great way to just enjoy watching the lake when you aren't wanting to be on the lake.
