In partnership with Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Proof Bar & Incubator, we’re getting ready to celebrate the local restaurants and businesses that make our downtown special!

From October 5–11, make plans to eat your way through downtown Springfield and show some extra love to our participating businesses. Whether you’re grabbing lunch, planning a dinner out, or treating yourself to something sweet, it’s the perfect week to dine local!

Happy Tourism Day!

Tourism is a major economic driver for Tennessee, and Springfield plays a part in that industry.

In 2025, Tennessee welcomed 150 million visits and generated a record $32.5 billion in direct visitor spending. That spending generated $3.3 billion in state and local tax revenue.

In Springfield, visitors came from 29 states and made more than 134,000 trips to our community in 2025. Visitors spent more than $30 million locally, supporting restaurants, shops, hotels, attractions, events, and other businesses throughout our community.

Tourism also contributes to the local tax base. In 2025, tourism in Robertson County generated approximately $239 in tax savings per household through state and local tax collections.

Tourism is an economic industry, and these numbers demonstrate its value to Tennessee and to Springfield.

Today, we are highlighting the impact of tourism and the important role it plays in supporting businesses, generating tax revenue, and contributing to the continued growth of our community.

🥤🍪 RESTAURANT SPOTLIGHT: Bake n' Soda 🍪🥤

From food truck to downtown Springfield! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome Bake n’ Soda to Tennessee Restaurant Week and to Main Street! What started as a food truck serving fresh-baked treats, fun gourmet sodas, and great hospitality is now becoming a brand-new brick-and-mortar kitchen in downtown Springfield. ❤️

Bake n' Soda is bringing the favorites the community already knows and loves while expanding the menu with fresh sandwiches, salads, bagels, smoothies, desserts, and more!

During Tennessee Restaurant Week, they’ll be offering a featured menu, specialty drink, dessert feature, and more, making this new Main Street spot one you’ll want to check out!

With kid-friendly options and outdoor seating, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite, treat yourself, and enjoy some good food and good times downtown.
