We recently had the opportunity to take part in a collaborative familiarization tour across Robertson, Cheatham, and Sumner Counties, hosted in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and tied to the Women in Travel Summit in Chattanooga!

We welcomed eight women content creators and travel bloggers from across the country, including Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania. These guests represented a range of experience levels, from established multi-platform creators to emerging voices in the travel media space. The goal of this experience was to highlight authentic Middle Tennessee stories, local culture, and community-driven tourism.

Throughout the tour, guests experienced hands-on farm and agritourism activities, local dining, music and storytelling experiences, historic downtown exploration, and immersive cultural stops that showcased the heart of our region.

A special thank you to the businesses, organizations, and partners who helped make this event possible! (*Facebook limits the amount of pages we can tag - see comments on this post for the full list!)

Tourism and economic growth go hand in hand, and we are proud to work alongside the Robertson County (TN) Chamber of Commerce to help strengthen and support our community!

We are excited to continue working together to showcase everything that makes Robertson County such a special place to live, work, and visit.

This has been a long time in the making… our office is finally showing off the two businesses located at 405 W. Court Square.

And it’s probably time for a refresher course on what each organization does around here:

The Robertson County Economic Development team is governed by a separate Board of Directors from the Chamber and focuses on recruiting new industry, supporting existing industry, county tourism, and helping create opportunities for long-term economic growth across Robertson County.

The Robertson County Chamber of Commerce focuses on supporting and promoting local businesses through networking, marketing, advocacy, community programming, events, leadership development, workforce and education initiatives, and member resources.

These two entities work closely together to strengthen Robertson County’s economy, support local businesses, attract investment, promote tourism, and help make this community a place where businesses and families want to be.

Different roles. Shared mission. Same building. We have some epic office parties!
