Originally formed from a core group of Breast Cancer Survivors, the Springfield Dragon Rays dragon boat team has grown to embrace paddlers from all walks of life.

Our teammates Velma, Stephanie, and Christina, are headed to France this week and next for the IBCPC International Breast Cancer Paddlers Commission festival. They are paddling as survivors. Teammate Becky is also headed over as support person. Enjoy!

Paddlers take Lake Champlain for 20th Annual Dragonboat race More than 50 teams of paddlers took part in the 20th annual Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival. Since it first began, the event has raised more than $3.7 million for nonprofits supporting cancer patients.

Our fastest 500 meter ever and we improved the time for race 2 and we only had 17 in the boat! DRAGON STRONG!!
So happy to be headed back to Burlington, VT after a few years.
