Happy Birthday, Blair! 🎉⚽

Today is a special one.

When Blair’s dad asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday, her answer was simple:

A private training session with Coach Alik.

That says everything about Blair.

She truly loves the game. She is the type of player who practices at home, shows up with excitement, and always wants to get better. For a coach, that is one of the most special things to see.

Blair is technically gifted, brave, and creative. She can play with both feet, score with her weak foot, combine with two touches, and change the game with one smart pass into space. Every time she touches the ball, there is purpose behind it.

She plays with intelligence, confidence, and joy. She competes with the boys, handles pressure, and still finds ways to make the players around her better.

Blair, we are very proud of the player you are becoming — not just because of your talent, but because of your love for the game and your willingness to work.

Keep playing with joy. Keep being brave. Keep believing in yourself.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: SAMUEL ⚽🦁

Samuel is a creative attacking player who continues to grow in confidence, skill, and understanding of the game.

Playing primarily on the right side, Samuel loves taking players on, cutting inside, and creating opportunities near goal. His quick first steps, confidence in 1v1 situations, and ability to combine with teammates make him an exciting player to watch.

What stands out most about Samuel is his creativity. He is always looking for a way to beat a defender, find a pass, or create a shooting opportunity. As he continues developing his decision-making and finishing, he is becoming an increasingly dangerous attacking player.

We are proud of Samuel’s progress and excited to see him continue growing with Euro Soccer Academy!

EURO Soccer Academy is now preparing rosters for the next season.

We are currently looking at players born 2012–2018 who want to develop in a structured, competitive, and positive training environment.

Player Spotlight: River ⚽🦁

This clip shows a great example of River’s development and the type of soccer we want our players to learn at EURO.

River drives toward the box with a defender in front of him. He sells the movement to the right, makes the defender react, and then quickly chops the ball across with his right foot onto his left. That quick change of direction creates the separation he needs.

But the best part is what comes next.

Instead of forcing the shot, River keeps his composure, recognizes the space behind the defensive line, and plays a beautiful penetrating pass into Owen’s run.

Owen finishes the chance — and this was also a special moment because it was his first official goal with EURO.

Owen joined us after his brother Chase started training with us in the spring. He came in, worked hard, trained with the team, and in his first game he was able to score his first official goal.

That moment shows what we love to see at EURO:

Confidence on the ball.
Smart decision-making.
Players creating for each other.
New players growing into the team.

Great work, River — this is the kind of creative, intelligent play that makes teammates better.

Euro Youth Soccer Where American Talent Meets European Technique

Player Spotlight: Jack 🏆⚽

At our last tournament, we had a moment that showed exactly what development in soccer is all about.

During the game, Jack and I stepped to the bench and looked at the field together. I handed him the coaching board and asked one simple question:
“What do you see?”

We talked through the space, the movement, and the next decision. In that moment, he began to understand the situation and see the game more clearly.

Jack went back onto the field with confidence, trusted himself, and made it count — scoring a big goal and helping the team win the tournament. 🥇

This is Jack’s first season with us, and he has been a great member of our team. He brings great energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude every time he steps on the field, and we are proud to have him at Euro.

At Euro Soccer Academy, every player is supported, encouraged, and given the tools to grow.

Champions.

Our EURO 2016 boys went 4-0 this weekend and won the Queen City Cup at Allison Sports Town .

It was a great tournament and a very valuable experience for the team. The boys played some tough games, handled themselves well, competed with great energy, and continued to show growth as a group.

Very proud of the players for the way they represented EURO throughout the weekend. Winning is always special, but doing it with effort, composure, and teamwork makes it even better.

• Focused on real player development
