We recently celebrated the induction of Clark State’s newest One Million Degrees scholars! 🎉 As one of only three community colleges nationwide implementing OMD, Clark State provides scholars with advising, coaching, financial support and more to help ensure they reach their educational and career goals. In its first year, the Clark State program served 42 students, achieved an 86% retention rate and provided more than $15,000 in financial support! 💙

There’s no place like Springfield! 👠✨ The cast of The Wiz has officially arrived in town to rehearse for their national tour, and guess where these new leading cast members stopped for a photo? On the Kuss Auditorium stage! 💙🎭

Springfield gets the FIRST performance of the national tour at 8 p.m. Sept. 26, right here at the Clark State Performing Arts Center.

Evon Walters, Ed.D., Clark State president, and representatives from Clark State Foundation, marketing, workforce and business affairs recently took part in an immersive visit to 88th Air Base Wing. The experience included a C-17 tour, military working dog demonstration, mission briefings and visits to Air Force Institute of Technology, the Naval Medical Research Unit and Air Force Research Laboratory. The visit provided a deeper appreciation for the dedicated service of uniformed and civilian USAF personnel and the tremendous impact WPAFB has on the Dayton Region and around the world. Participants also learned more about partnerships with WPAFB, preparing students for the workforce, internship opportunities and ways Clark State can help meet the needs of the region’s workforce.

Strong credit. Stable outlook. Stronger foundation for what’s next. 💙🦅

Moody’s Ratings has affirmed Clark State College’s A2 rating with a stable outlook, reflecting the college’s sound financial position, important regional role and continued support from the State of Ohio.

For us, it’s more than a rating. It’s another sign that Clark State is positioned to keep investing in our students, our programs and the communities we serve.

The Nest was buzzing. 🦅💙

Nest Fest brought 275 high school students and 55 mentors together for a day of connection, exploration and getting ready for the year ahead.

Clark State Scholars had the chance to meet their mentors, explore programs and resources and pick up important information for the school year.

A pretty great way to start building what’s next.

The Creative Writers’ Club recently held its first meeting and they’re ready to welcome more students! Community members, students, employees and friends of Clark State recently came together to celebrate Evon Walters, Ed.D., and the beginning of his presidency at Clark State College.

The evening was filled with great conversations, new connections and plenty of excitement for what’s ahead. As Dr. Walters begins this new chapter, we’re grateful for a community that continues to show up, invest in our students and believe in Clark State’s future.
