Serving Texas + Multi-State
The Koch Insurance Group works with small to mid-sized businesses across Texas, helping owners understand their coverage, identify gaps, and make sure everything is built to protect how their business actually operates. We are a team of professionals who take a detailed and intentional approach to coverage. Every business is different, and we focus on finding solutions that align with how each one
One of the first questions I ask business owners is, "What would put you out of business?"
Most people immediately think about the premium. Very few think about the consequences.
Would a lawsuit impact your ability to operate? What about an employee injury, a major property loss, or a contract dispute? If one of those situations happened tomorrow, would you feel confident in the decisions you made when choosing your coverage?
Insurance isn't just about satisfying a requirement. It's about protecting the blood, sweat, and tears you've poured into building something meaningful.
If it's been a while since you've reviewed your coverage, click the link in my bio or visit kochig.com. We'd be happy to help you understand what you have and identify any potential gaps.

Here's something not everyone knows about me. I spent my high school years in band.
Many of you already know I play guitar, but that wasn't my first instrument. In fact, I play three.
So now I'm curious... what instrument do you think I learned first?
Drop your guesses below. Let's see who gets it right!

One of my favorite parts of this business is the relationships we build along the way.
You start with a conversation about insurance, and before long, you're celebrating wins, navigating challenges, and helping businesses grow.
Jamie, thank you for trusting us to walk alongside you!

This is what I walked into yesterday: a flooded office.
You might be thinking, "Well, that's why you have insurance." And you're right!
The good news is, we're covered and already working through the repair process. The better news? Business doesn't stop.
We'll be working remotely for the next couple of weeks while everything gets cleaned up and repaired, but we're still here and ready to help however we can.
It's also a good reminder that unexpected things happen. Whether it's storm damage, a burst pipe, or something you never saw coming, having the right coverage in place can make all the difference when life throws you a curveball.
If you need us, don't hesitate to reach out.

Quick question for business owners.
Do you actually know your coverage limits?
Not just that you “have insurance,” but what your policy would realistically cover if something happened.
A lot of people are surprised when we sit down and review their policy together. Sometimes they are overinsured in areas they do not need to be, and underinsured where it actually matters.
That is why understanding the details is important.
So be honest. When was the last time you actually reviewed your coverage limits?

A lot of agencies help you when it is time to sign the paperwork.
We focus on supporting you long term.
Businesses change constantly. You grow, hire employees, take on larger contracts, add services, expand locations, bring on subcontractors, and sometimes move into completely different areas than where you started.
That means your coverage needs to evolve with your business.
A big part of what we do is staying involved, asking questions, reviewing changes, and helping make sure your policy continues to match how your business actually operates over time.
We are not interested in just writing a policy and disappearing.
Our goal is to help protect what you are building for the long haul!
Why does working with a broker matter?
When it comes to commercial insurance, it can make a huge difference.
Not every business fits into a neat little box. If you are in a higher-risk industry, have unique operations, or need specialized coverage, your options can become limited very quickly.
As a broker, we have access to multiple carriers and markets, including some that many business owners have never heard of.
That gives us the ability to find solutions that fit your business instead of trying to force your business into a policy that does not fit.
Our job is to understand how your business operates, identify potential risks, and help make sure you are protected for the long haul.
The right coverage starts with asking the right questions!

For the last 10 years, Reveille Networking Group has shown up every Friday morning to build friendships, serve the community, and create meaningful connections along the way.
On Friday, June 12th from 7:30–9:30AM at Niko Niko’s in The Woodlands, we are celebrating 10 years of Reveille, and I would love for you to join us.
Whether you have been coming for years, have not been in a while, or have never been before, this will be a great opportunity to reconnect, meet some great people, and see what this group is really all about.
Over the years, this group has been able to give back over $100,000 to nonprofits and organizations serving our community, and none of that would have been possible without the people who continue to show up and support one another.
Bring a friend and come celebrate with us. We would love to see you there.

For those who do not care about insurance, this one is for you.
When we look at coverage for your business, we are not worried about the small stuff. We are looking at the situations that can put you out of business.
A customer gets hurt and files a lawsuit.
An employee causes an accident while on the job.
A subcontractor makes a mistake that comes back on you.
A fire destroys your building, equipment, or inventory.
A contract requires coverage you do not have.
An attorney's letter shows up in your mailbox.
The reality is, you do not even have to do anything wrong. Sometimes things just happen.
That is why we ask so many questions. We want to understand how your business operates, where your risks are, and what could have the biggest impact on everything you have worked so hard to build.
Because at the end of the day, we are not just protecting a business. We are helping protect your employees, your customers, your family, and your future.
