Don’t want to pay child support? Find out CAPIAS issued for arrest. Another two county day started with a child support enforcement in Montgomery County and ended with criminal court in Grimes County. BUSY! RESULTS!

Biggest surprise of the week was settling temporary orders in mediation. Highly contentious case. So many issues at play. All attempts to reach common ground had failed. Mediation would have checked the box allowing us to proceed with a hearing. But, we settled!

Final Orders entered in high conflict, highly contested custody matter this week. Strategy. Proof. Results.

DISMISSAL! Another for the books this week. This one in Waller County on a DWI. Client wanted to do the right thing and called Uber. Officer believed otherwise. Thankful for another reasonable prosecutor who understood the real evidence in the case.

DISMISSAL in the books this week from Trinity County in a felony matter. It may have taken about a year, but the result was worth it. Hats off to the honorable DA who listened and agreed the evidence was lacking.

Second day for two counties: today, Harris and Galveston, yesterday, Harris and Waller. Successful temporary orders hearing in Galveston today for a divorce. Always fun when you catch opposing party in lies and misstatements on the stand, and the judge questions and ultimately warns the opposing party.
