We are an independent, family owned record store with two locations one in Spring and our second location in Vintage Park. MUSIC- it's what we do.
Established in 1976 we are a Houston staple for all music lovers. We offer vinyl records, cassette tapes,cds and unique gifts. With a unique shopping experience every time, you never know what you’re going to discover when you start your own shopping revolution! Sound Revolution was established in 1976, and opened our second location on March 1st, 2014.

The ritual begins this Saturday. 🕯️ Worship at your local record store for the “Caramel” liquid-filled 12” single.
With only 3,000 copies globally, this is the ultimate offering before Even In Arcadia arrives in May. Who else is lining up at dawn? Yes both locations will have a very limited supply!

2. Line up by the door, heading towards First Watch (be considerate of other businesses).
3. Doors open 8am, 10 customers at a time. Bring your list!

Record Store Day 2026 special edition on deep blue color vinyl with a special poster included. Takanaka Masayoshi’s best selection from his works between 1976 and 1978. This double lp album features iconic tracks such as “Sweet Agnes,” “Mambo No. 5,” and “Ready To Fly.
