It may be the end of September, but we are already packaging gifts for this year's Holiday Magic. Volunteer groups have been boxing up hundreds of gifts to get us ready for the season. Last year, over 4,000 youth and young adults received a gift - which is made possible which the support of our volunteers and community partners.

From the archives: Growing Up in Foster Care are with Just-In-Time Funding

Possibilities are found in life’s extras—paint supplies provide an outlet, soccer league fees spark a gritty passion, and even a theater ticket feeds the soul.

According to a GoBankingRates survey, about 52% of parents reported spending over $1,000 a year on one child’s extracurriculars and hobbies to make them smile and discover who they are.

That’s where Treehouse’s Just-in-Time Funding (JITF) program steps in.

School may have started in some communities, but school supplies are still in high demand. Here are the most requested and shopped for supplies:

- College rule composition notebooks

Help stock the Treehouse Store!

We're running low on several essential items that youth are requesting right now. Your donations help children and teens in foster care access the clothing and personal care items they need to feel confident, comfortable, and ready for school.

Most-needed items:
- Short-sleeve tops (children's sizes, all sizes needed)
- Denim for boys and girls (all sizes)
- Hygiene items for all ages, especially body wash, shampoo, and conditioner

Every donation helps ensure youth can find the essentials they need at no cost to them.

These challenges are often connected to factors outside the classroom, including school changes, interrupted learning, and barriers to accessing educational supports.
