Love traveled far for Lobo, who waited a long time for this kind of day. ๐พ
This sweet Husky had been living on a chain 24 hours a day. In the Southern Oregon heat, he needed more than just freedom - he needed shade, shelter, and a safe place to finally move like any Fido should.
So, the Fido Team traveled a long way to give him freedom.
Now Lobo has a secure yard, a sturdy doghouse, and a shade structure to help keep him cool and comfortable at home.
No more 24-hour chain.
No more waiting.
Just room to stretch, rest, explore, and feel the care that was always meant for him.๐งก

A fence for a FIDO named Fido and his buddy Midnight! The Fences For Fido crew was all the way down in southern Oregon for 2 builds over the weekend. Fido & Midnight's elderly guardian was grateful to receive two enclosures, toys, treats, doghouses, freedom and safety for Midnight & Fido. Thank you to everyone that made the long drive down to lend helping hands. ๐งก

When the temperatures rise, shade matters. โ๏ธ๐พ
Two Fidos needed extra protection from the heat, so the Fido Team stepped in and built a sturdy shade structure to help keep them cool and comfortable at home.
Because safety isnโt just a fence, itโs making sure dogs have what they need to stay healthy in every season.
Thank you to our donors for making care like this possible. ๐๐พ๐งก

Love travels far. ๐ This Saturday, our Fences For Fido team will once again make the journey from Portland to Chiloquin, a small town in Klamath County with fewer than 800 people, to help two families and four dogs who spend most of their days on chains.
There are real lived experiences behind these families, and the reality that pet resources can be hard to come by in rural communities. But there is also so much love.
Over the past several months, neighbors, friends, and community members have all helped us reach these dogs and their families. And perhaps most importantly, these families have trusted us enough to accept help without judgment.
So, on Saturday at 10 am, we'll show up with fence panels, dog houses, shade structures, and volunteers, driving nearly 300 miles to offer four dogs the freedom to run and families the support, too.
If you live in Klamath County and have ever thought about volunteering, we'd love to see you!

Good fences really do make good neighbors โ especially when a Husky is involved. ๐พ
Stitch has been fully embracing his true Husky nature: climbing, digging, jumping, escaping, and singing the song of his people all the way down the road. Thankfully, no harm came to him during his adventures, but his family was facing the very real stress of fines and possible consequences if he got loose again.
His partner in crime, sweet Miah, may be a little more subdued, but she was right there in the same boat - needing a safe space where both dogs could stay home, secure, and out of trouble.
Today, the Fences For Fido Oregon Coast Volunteers in Florence stepped in with just what this yard needed: inverted toppers, ground wire, and reinforced fencing to help keep Stitch and Miah safely where they belong.
No more escapes. No more close calls. No more worrying about the next knock at the door.
Just two beautiful dogs, a safer yard, and a family with peace of mind.
A BIG THANK YOU to volunteers for jumping in and being part of this build. This is what community care looks like. ๐๐งก
