Speedvagen

Hi everyone, Sacha White here, checking in about the state of the Vagen. Contrary to the murmurs floating around, Speedvagen and Vanilla are not closing. We did have a garage sale to unload some old gear and some equipment that we no longer need. Seems like that was worrying to folks. The plan for the future is to simplify a bit. Evaluate what we like and don’t like from the last 24 years of evolution of our offerings and also the business itself. The bottom line is that I’ve found that 100k in expenses each month is not conducive to the working environment that we want. More of a beast that needs to be fed. We will be focusing on a workshop that has the bandwidth for ingenuity and forward thinking design and the time to bring those designs to the world. This will likely result in building fewer bikes. It will be a few months while that transformation happens. We’re excited and feeling positive. Thanks to everyone for all of the love!!

Whoa, it’s been a minute, how have y’all been? Take a peep at the new Smoked Ichico.

We don’t often do colored Ano parts on builds. But when do they are and boy do they pop.

The goal is to simple, we want to make you feel as good as possible on a bike. We do this through our unique fitting method, materials, bike geometry design, and last but not least the aesthetic. If you feel good, you are faster, we pinky promise.

It’s no secret cyclocross is our favorite of all cycling disciplines. So it should be no secret that true CX bikes are our favorite to make. After all, is there anything more fun than getting muddy with a group of likeminded individuals?
