Deputy Pam Keith of the Noble County Sheriff’s Department was the guest speaker at a recent Perry Lions Club meeting where she introduced her K9 partner Diesel and discussed their work in local schools and the community.

Keith and Diesel have been partnered for nearly two years. Diesel is a 10 year old Belgian Malinois trained as a narcotics detection dog specializing in ma*****na he**in methamphetamine and co***ne. He is a passive alert dog who signals by placing his nose on the source rather than barking or scratching.
