🎀 PAY IT FORWARD BRA — THIS OCTOBER 🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year we want to turn awareness into action. 💗

We all know that breast cancer can turn someone's world upside down — and the last thing a woman should have to worry about is how she's going to afford the breast-care items she needs.

So throughout the entire month of October, we're starting our Pay It Forward Bra program. 🩷

When you're shopping at Fittingly You, you can choose to add $5, $10, or whatever amount you'd like to your purchase.

Every dollar collected will be donated to Bounce Back Closet, our local nonprofit created to help women with breast cancer and post-mastectomy breast-care costs.

💗 You shop.
💗 You give.
💗 Another woman gets the support she needs.

And those little amounts really can add up.

Imagine if 50 women each put $10 toward a Pay It Forward Bra. That's $500 that could help another woman get something she truly needs.

🎀 So let's make October about more than wearing pink.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I thought we'd have a little FUN with it! 💗

I have this adorable pickleball set that I got for FREE, so instead of keeping it for myself, I'm giving it away! 😍

And we're going to make this an ALL-MONTH GIVEAWAY!

Throughout October, I'll be posting questions, fun prompts and ways to earn entries. Every time you participate, you'll get your name added to the drawing!

I completely forgot I took this picture when I was delivering our “Survivor” themed bra over to Ft. Jesse Imaging Center for the Breast in Show Auction.

Because apparently, when you’re driving around town with a mannequin in the passenger seat, you just casually forget how absolutely unhinged it looks to everyone else. 😂

I can only imagine the people driving past me like…
👀 “Ummm… is that a person?”
👀 “Why is she sitting so perfectly still?”
👀 “WAIT… IS THAT A MANNEQUIN?!”
👀 “WHERE IS HER FACE?!?!”

And honestly, she was the perfect passenger for the trip. She was headed to Survivor after all. 😜🏝️

She survived the drive. Now let’s see if the bra survives the auction! 💗🎀

Well… **LOOK AT THIS!** 😍👏

Our bra recycling bin at Fittingly You is officially **STUFFED**, and I have a whole other BAG full in the back room! 😂

I absolutely LOVE the enthusiasm and support you guys are showing for our bra recycling program! 💗

Every one of these bras is getting a second chance to help women who need them **AND** keeping them out of our landfills. ♻️👙

So keep ’em coming!! 🙌

Today I officially submitted Fittingly You’s bra for Breast in Show with Fort Jesse Imaging Center — and of course, our theme had to be SURVIVOR! 🩷

And how fitting that I’m submitting it TODAY… because Survivor starts TONIGHT! 😂🏝️

Our bra is all about celebrating the women who have faced breast cancer, fought their way through treatment, and come out stronger on the other side. 💪🩷

The Breast in Show auction raises money to help provide breast cancer awareness and mammograms for women who otherwise may not be able to afford them. What a great cause to get behind!

So keep your eyes peeled for our Survivor bra when the auction rolls around! And remember… in this game, everyone wins when we help more women get the care they need. 🩷

I had a conversation with a friend recently that really stuck with me.

She was telling me about an experience she had at a very popular bra store. She said she walked in hoping to get some help, but left feeling like she just wasn’t really *seen*. She felt like the attention was mostly going toward the younger girls, and she didn’t feel like she was getting the help she deserved.

And I’ve got to tell you… that really bothered me.

Because that is the LAST thing I want a woman to feel when she walks into Fittingly You.

I don’t care if you’re 16 or 76. I don’t care if you’re a size 30A or a 46H. I don’t care if you’re shopping for your first bra, you’re postpartum, your body has changed over the years, you’ve had surgery, or you just haven’t bought yourself a properly fitting bra in… well, let’s just say *a really long time.* 😂

**You deserve to be seen. You deserve to be helped. And you deserve to feel comfortable.**

That’s a HUGE part of what I wanted Fittingly You to be.

A place where you can walk in and not feel intimidated. A place where you can tell us what you need, where we can actually listen, and where you don’t have to feel like you’re being judged because of your age, your size, your body, or where you are in life.

Because women’s bodies change. A LOT. And sometimes finding a bra that fits is the least of the things we’re dealing with. 😉

So if you’ve ever felt overlooked, uncomfortable, embarrassed, or like you weren't the “right” age or size to get good help at a bra store…

**I want you to know that you are absolutely welcome at Fittingly You.** ❤️
