This recognition follows a significant achievement: NCH became the first hospital in the United States to integrate Caristo’s AI-powered cardiovascular technology in 100% of NCH’s cardiac CT program.

A First in Florida!

The NCH Rooney Heart Institute becomes the first health system in Florida to successfully perform the FDA-approved Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement (TMVR) procedure using the Edwards Lifesciences SAPIEN M3 system, advancing minimally invasive heart care and bringing innovative treatment options to patients in Southwest Florida.

As a distinguished Center of Excellence in Valvular Heart Disease and destination for advanced cardiac care, this milestone underscores the expertise of a comprehensive team committed to bringing leading-edge therapies to the patients we serve.

The Van Domelen Pavilion for Women & Children will be a four-story, 156,000-square-foot center of clinical excellence built above the existing emergency departments at NCH North Naples Hospital.

It will bring advanced, comprehensive women’s and pediatric care together under one roof so families can stay close to home when it matters most.
