Someone convinced one of our friend’s to sell Mary Kay products. Mary Kay preys on poor immigrants who want a nice car. They tell them they will get a pink Cadillac if they sell so much. And they get rewarded if they get other people to sell Mary Kay. They are supposed to have parties and demonstrate the products and sell them to their friends. The problem
is that their friends are all poor and can’t afford a $50 wrinkle cream. So the only way they make money is by getting other people to sell Mary Kay. It’s called a MLM or Multi-Level-Marketing. It’s a kind of ponzi scheme.

My friend’s friend who lives in Connecticut convinced him to sign up as a salesman. He got me to order a $50 wrinkle cream.

À lot of people don’t know where to go vote for the general election. They think they can go to the place they usually go to for early voting but that’s not the case. Before you go vote on Tuesday August 20, find out where you are supposed to go. You can go to colliervotes.gov and put in your name and birthdate and find out where to go on Tuesday. If you can’t do that call 239-252-8683 and ask the SOE where you go to vote in Tuesday.

There are two elections coming up.

1. The primary is Tuesday, August 20—You can also go to EARLY VOTING for the primary. Early voting is Saturday August 10-Saturday Aug 17. It is too late to get a vote by mail ballot for the primary but it would be good to go to early voting so you can vote for the person who will go against Rick Scott for US Senator.
2. The general election is Tuesday, November 5—You can also go to EARLY VOTING for the general election. Early voting is Monday, October 21 to Saturday, November 2. You can still get a one by mail ballot for the general election by calling the Supervisor of Elections 239 252-8683.

It is too late to sign up for vote by mail for the primary but you can sign up for Vote By Mail for the general election from now until October 24.
