Our Business Management & Entrepreneurship summer camp students at FGCU learned one of the most important lessons in business:
If your team can’t communicate… your whole project collapses. Literally. 😄🍝 And our President & CEO, Noemi Y. Perez was there to see the concepts come alive!

The challenge?
Create the tallest, strongest tower using the world’s most chaotic materials… and then explain how you’d improve it.
Teamwork? Required.
Authenticity? Required.

If the ideas come together → SUCCESS.
If not → well… they’re cooked 🍝🤣

But the teamwork, the laughter, the problem‑solving, and the willingness to try again THAT is what this camp is all about.

If you’ve ever wondered how Florida survives the summer… William and Julian now know the secret. 😄❄️

Our Engineering & Construction Management students are spending their summer internship at Conditioned Air, learning how every piece of equipment, every component, and every system works together to keep Southwest Florida cool.

They’re gaining hands‑on experience with:
🛠️ HVAC systems
📐 Construction processes
🔧 Mechanical troubleshooting
⚡ Real‑world engineering applications

And yes.. they now fully understand why AC technicians deserve superhero capes. 🦸‍♂️❄️

These internships don’t just teach skills.
They build career pathways, create talent pipelines, and prepare students for high‑demand jobs where they can thrive.

We’re proud of William and Julian for stepping into their future with curiosity, grit, and a whole lot of determination.

Week 1 of internships and our students are already out here making us proud! 💙✨

Healthcare Pathway rising senior Dinamar is spending her summer internship at Little Flower Pediatrics. 🩺

From shadowing professionals to learning the rhythm of a pediatric office, she’s gaining the kind of hands‑on experience that builds confidence, skills, and a whole lot of “Oh wow, I’m really doing this!” moments. 😄💉

Every summer, our rising seniors across ALL pathways get to work alongside industry experts throughout Southwest Florida, and this real‑world exposure is exactly why 95% of our alumni go on to work in the field they studied.
That’s not just a statistic… that’s a pipeline of future professionals being built right here. 💙🚀

The next generation is HERE. And they’re ready. 🌟

What’s better than a day at Physicians Regional? A day at Physicians Regional… WITH DOGS. 🐶💉✨

Our interns got to enjoy a paw‑sitively unforgettable experience with support animals, and the joy was REAL. From belly rubs to puppy kisses, these furry friends brought comfort, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. 🐾❤️

But this wasn’t just a cute moment.
It was a powerful lesson in holistic care.

Support animals help reduce anxiety, improve communication, and create a calmer environment....all essential skills for future healthcare professionals. This hands‑on experience nurtures the internship journey by teaching interns how emotional support plays a vital role in patient well‑being. 🌿🩺

And yes… we have about 400 adorable photos. 😄📸

OFF THEY GO, Y’ALL! 🚀🎓💙

On the FINAL day of our 2026 Summer Bootcamp, we officially said bon voyage (for now!) to our incoming freshman class and trust us… they went out with a BANG. 💥😎

We kicked things off with “Who’s Smarter Than a High Schooler?”....and listen… the COMPETITION was spicy. 🌶️📚
Trash talk? ✔️
Bragging rights? ✔️
Plot twist? ALWAYS. 😂

Then came the session everyone was waiting for: FINANCIAL LITERACY with Diego Zambrano 💸🧠
These kids were locked in like it was the season finale of their favorite show. Eyes wide. Pens flying. Futures being secured in real time. 💼✨

After lunch, our PSCS student panel — Esmeralda, Micaela, and Daisy, dropped wisdom like confetti. 🎤💡
Daisy even walked them through class scheduling like the academic fairy godmother she is. 🪄📅

And then… the grand finale…
🍦 ICE. CREAM. SOCIAL. 🍦
Instant fan favorite. Zero surprise. Maximum joy. 😄💙

It was bittersweet saying goodbye, but these students walked out more confident, more prepared, and READY for what’s ahead.

Freshmen… you’re up. GO MAKE WAVES. 🌊🚀
