Parents Initiative
We exist to create awareness in parents that will encourage them to take the initiative in becoming and being the parents they are called to be.

What are we modeling for the next generation? đ
One of the greatest responsibilities we have is helping the next generation build a foundation that will remain long after they leave our homes.
Theyâre watching more than we realizeâhow we respond, how we forgive, how we handle adversity, and whether our faith is something we simply talk about or genuinely live out.
We canât make every decision for them, but we can give them a foundation worth building on. â¤ď¸đ

Have you ever had to remind your teenager that they shouldnât have to beg for a seat at someone elseâs table? â¤ď¸
This is such an important lessonânot just for teenagers, but for all of us.
The right friendships donât require you to constantly prove your worth, chase people down, or become someone youâre not just to belong.
Teach them to be kind. Teach them to be a good friend. But also teach them that itâs okay to walk away from relationships where the effort is always one-sided.
Know your worth. Choose your circle wisely. đŻđ

What if the moments your kids remember most are the ones that seemed ordinary to you?
As dads, itâs easy to think we always need to plan something big, spend money, or create some unforgettable experience. But sometimes they just want us. â¤ď¸
A car ride. Sitting on the couch. Running an errand. Grabbing something to eat. Talking about absolutely nothing.
Those ordinary moments may not feel significant today, but one day they may become the memories they treasure most.
Be present. Put the phone down. Listen. Laugh. Enjoy the time youâve been given.
They donât stay little forever. đ

What kind of adults are we raising? â¤ď¸
One of the greatest gifts we can give our children isnât blind obedienceâitâs the ability to think, discern, and stand firm in their convictions.
The world will always try to influence them. Our job is to raise them with strong character, biblical truth, wisdom, and the courage to do whatâs right⌠even when itâs unpopular.
Letâs raise children who follow God over the crowd. đ

When was the last time you stopped what you were doing just to listen? â¤ď¸
Children donât usually need us to have all the answers. They just want to know that what matters to them matters to us.
One day, the drawings will stop coming. The random stories will become less frequent. The little voices asking us to âwatch thisâ wonât always be there.
Letâs be present while we still can. The greatest gift we can give isnât always adviceâsometimes itâs our full attention. đ

What if one of the greatest gifts we can give our children isnât more instruction⌠but more security? â¤ď¸
Children thrive when they know theyâre loved, protected, and accepted. A safe home creates the confidence to ask questions, make mistakes, grow, and become who God created them to be. None of us will parent perfectly, but we can be intentional about creating an environment where love is stronger than fear. đđĄ
What are some ways you help your children or grandchildren feel safe and valued?

Whatâs one lesson you hope your kids carry with them for the rest of their lives? â¤ď¸
Some of the most meaningful conversations donât happen when everything goes rightâthey happen after mistakes are made. Choosing humility, listening well, and showing respect teaches children that healthy communication isnât about being perfect⌠itâs about being willing to learn and grow together.
Every conversation is an opportunity to shape the next generation. đđ

What are your children hearing from you every day? â¤ď¸
Our words have incredible power. The encouragement we give today can become the confidence they carry tomorrow.
Letâs be intentional about speaking life, showing grace, and reminding our children who they are and whose they are. Those small moments and simple words often leave the biggest impact.

Whatâs one thing you wish someone had told you when you were a teenager? đ¤
Sometimes our teens donât need us to have all the answersâthey just need to know weâre willing to listen without judgment.
The conversations that seem small today can become the moments they remember for the rest of their lives. Make yourself approachable, stay curious, and remind them thereâs no question too big or too awkward to bring to you. â¤ď¸

Whoâs got the better end of the deal⌠parents of boys or parents of girls? đ
As a dad, I can honestly see both sides. đ
One group is playing referee all day⌠the other is wondering how a garage door disappeared and why the house suddenly has an âaccent wallâ nobody asked for. đ¤Śđťââď¸đ¨đŞ
Parenting definitely keeps you humbleâand gives you stories youâll be telling for years.
đ Parents, settle the debate:
Boys, girls, or both? Which one keeps you on your toes the most?
