What are we modeling for the next generation? 🙏

One of the greatest responsibilities we have is helping the next generation build a foundation that will remain long after they leave our homes.

They’re watching more than we realize—how we respond, how we forgive, how we handle adversity, and whether our faith is something we simply talk about or genuinely live out.

We can’t make every decision for them, but we can give them a foundation worth building on. ❤️🙏

Have you ever had to remind your teenager that they shouldn’t have to beg for a seat at someone else’s table? ❤️

This is such an important lesson—not just for teenagers, but for all of us.

The right friendships don’t require you to constantly prove your worth, chase people down, or become someone you’re not just to belong.

Teach them to be kind. Teach them to be a good friend. But also teach them that it’s okay to walk away from relationships where the effort is always one-sided.

Know your worth. Choose your circle wisely. 💯🙌

What if the moments your kids remember most are the ones that seemed ordinary to you?

As dads, it’s easy to think we always need to plan something big, spend money, or create some unforgettable experience. But sometimes they just want us. ❤️

A car ride. Sitting on the couch. Running an errand. Grabbing something to eat. Talking about absolutely nothing.

Those ordinary moments may not feel significant today, but one day they may become the memories they treasure most.

Be present. Put the phone down. Listen. Laugh. Enjoy the time you’ve been given.

They don’t stay little forever. 🙏

What kind of adults are we raising? ❤️

One of the greatest gifts we can give our children isn’t blind obedience—it’s the ability to think, discern, and stand firm in their convictions.

The world will always try to influence them. Our job is to raise them with strong character, biblical truth, wisdom, and the courage to do what’s right… even when it’s unpopular.

Let’s raise children who follow God over the crowd. 🙏

When was the last time you stopped what you were doing just to listen? ❤️

Children don’t usually need us to have all the answers. They just want to know that what matters to them matters to us.

One day, the drawings will stop coming. The random stories will become less frequent. The little voices asking us to “watch this” won’t always be there.

Let’s be present while we still can. The greatest gift we can give isn’t always advice—sometimes it’s our full attention. 🙏

What if one of the greatest gifts we can give our children isn’t more instruction… but more security? ❤️

Children thrive when they know they’re loved, protected, and accepted. A safe home creates the confidence to ask questions, make mistakes, grow, and become who God created them to be. None of us will parent perfectly, but we can be intentional about creating an environment where love is stronger than fear. 🙏🏡

Some of the most meaningful conversations don’t happen when everything goes right—they happen after mistakes are made. Choosing humility, listening well, and showing respect teaches children that healthy communication isn’t about being perfect… it’s about being willing to learn and grow together.

Our words have incredible power. The encouragement we give today can become the confidence they carry tomorrow.

Let’s be intentional about speaking life, showing grace, and reminding our children who they are and whose they are. Those small moments and simple words often leave the biggest impact.

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you when you were a teenager? 🤔

Sometimes our teens don’t need us to have all the answers—they just need to know we’re willing to listen without judgment.

The conversations that seem small today can become the moments they remember for the rest of their lives. Make yourself approachable, stay curious, and remind them there’s no question too big or too awkward to bring to you. ❤️

Who’s got the better end of the deal… parents of boys or parents of girls? 😂

As a dad, I can honestly see both sides. 😅 One group is playing referee all day… the other is wondering how a garage door disappeared and why the house suddenly has an “accent wall” nobody asked for. 🤦🏻‍♂️🎨🚪

Parenting definitely keeps you humble—and gives you stories you’ll be telling for years.
