The Mobile Bar Foundation concluded 2024 by awarding a total of $30,000 in grants to non-profit organizations that are positively influencing the legal profession in Mobile County. The agencies awarded grants were: Assistance League of Mobile, Legal Services Alabama; Mobile County, Mobile County Veterans Court, South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program, and Via Center for management of the. Volunteer Guardian Program.

As we reflect on 30 years of community impact, we are excited to continue fostering growth and support for the local legal community in the years ahead.

Our grant application process for 2024 is now closed. Many applications received! Our Board of Directors will meet soon to review. 📝

Each year, the Mobile Bar Foundation awards grants to local non-profits whose initiatives impact the legal community. Last year, the Foundation awarded a grant to the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program which allowed the agency to assist Mobile County residents with more than 450 legal matters. Great job!

This past Thursday was a great night celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Mobile Bar Foundation. Great crowd, silent auction, and our speaker was Sports Prognosticator Danny Sheridan sharing his predictions on the upcoming college and professional football season.

Thank you to all the Mobile county lawyers and judges for your continued support and helping us to make a measurable impact in our community.
