A Prom to Remember đź’™
Friendship, laughter and belonging filled Cloudland Canyon State Park as residents from VOA Southeast’s Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) programs in Trenton and LaFayette came together for their second annual prom.
The afternoon brought plenty of dancing, new friendships and special memories—including Carlos and Lavonne being crowned Prom King and Queen and Chris earning the title of happiest dancer! 👑🎶
More than a celebration, the prom was a chance to connect, build friendships and simply enjoy being together. Thank you to Cloudland Canyon State Park for making the day so special!

Last week, the veterans at Eagle's Landing enjoyed a special home-cooked barbecue lunch thanks to the generosity of Russell and Catherine Black. More than just a delicious meal, it was a meaningful reminder that our veterans are appreciated and supported by their community.
Thank you, Russell and Catherine, for your continued generosity and for making such a positive impact on the lives of the veterans we serve. đź’™

A heartfelt thank you to First Methodist Church of Brewton for treating the residents of Crepe Myrtle Village to a wonderful Fourth of July lunch! Volunteers served burgers, fresh fruit, and festive treats, creating a day filled with great food, laughter, and fellowship.
We are especially grateful to Robyn Hydar, who helped organize the event alongside the talented Sue Travis, Property Manager at Crepe Myrtle Village. Thank you also to Cindy Madden, Mike Edwards, and Ms. Janice for sharing your time and kindness with our residents.
